Software Integration Engineer
We are now looking for a driven and proactive software integration engineer. We expect that you must be an open-minded person who likes to discuss technical solutions and are not afraid to take on new ways of working. You will be the part of a constantly developing team in order to meet the continuous integration and deployment vision.
Your Background
We would like to see that you have a degree in IT and 5 years or more of working experience within software engineering industry. The service requires that you have a wide range of skills ranging from practical development to the mentioned knowledge and qualities below. You will join the newly created CI/ CD team, and play a very critical role and influence a lot. It is expected that you should have previous experience in DevOps set-up work in combination with management of build environments and build release tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Integrating software applications
- Maintaining and developing build environment infrastructure
- Modifying and developing quality assurance tools and other tools used
- Discussing technical solutions with suppliers (internal/ external)
- Supporting technical investigations and task force activities
- Assisting the development teams in best practice around build and test automation
- Set-up and maintaining CI/ CD infrastructure
- Tooling setup and configuration
Qualifications
- B.Sc. within electrical/ computer engineering or equivalent level of education
- Love writing clean code with Shell Script, Python, Groovy, Ruby, etc.
- Familiar with version control .e.g Git and understand git workflow
- Experience with Jenkins/ GoCD/ Gitlab-CI
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt
- Experience with Jira + confluence
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with Cucumber, RobotFrameWork
- Fluent in English in both speech and writing
